About The Position

Snipebridge is seeking an Architectural Designer for a full-service boutique residential architecture and interior design studio based in Los Angeles. This firm integrates architecture, interior architecture, and interior design, working on renovations, remodels, and new custom constructions. The studio is known for its personal approach, distinctive aesthetic, and sensitivity to client lifestyles. The position is a hands-on role focused on project delivery, owning the drawing set, coordinating consultants, and ensuring design vision translates into buildable, permit-ready documents. The role offers exposure to all project phases and meaningful design involvement. The ideal candidate has a strong command of interior architecture, understanding space, materials, lighting, and details, combined with the technical fluency to lead projects through construction documents and into the field. Single-family residential experience is a strong plus.

Requirements

  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) or Interior Architecture
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in architecture or architectural interior design
  • Understanding of building systems, construction methods, and materials
  • Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to construction document sets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of interior architecture (millwork, finish details, RCPs, lighting, and material coordination)
  • Single-family residential project experience, ideally custom or luxury homes
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and must already possess long-term work authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with wildfire rebuild projects or fire-resistant construction a notable plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead concept development and schematic design across all project types
  • Collaborate on the production of construction document sets across all project phases from design development through permit submission and construction administration
  • Coordinate across all consultant disciplines and serve as a point of contact for contractors and consultants during the documentation and construction phases
  • Develop interior architecture across spatial relationships, millwork and cabinetry packages, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, finish and material schedules, and lighting details
  • Conduct site visits to verify construction progress against drawings and design intent
  • Collaborate directly with the founding partners on design development decisions
  • Navigate the permitting process, plan check responses, and code compliance across residential project types
  • Contribute to a studio culture that takes design seriously
