About The Position

Little, nationally recognized as a “Best Firm to Work For” and one of the nation’s most progressive design firms, is seeking an Architectural Designer who will work in our Retail Studio in our Orlando, FL office. You’ll be working in our dedicated retail studio with other professionals dedicated to retail projects. You’ll have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. You’ll have direct access to your client on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience in the architecture & design industry.
• Solid design and production skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Extraordinary computer skills: AutoCAD and Revit Required.
• Self-motivation and a desire to learn about all aspects of Architecture.
• Resourceful and creative problem solver understanding design and spatial relationships.
• Good with people – a strong listener, respectful in your interactions with others and have a positive outlook on life and a good communicator.
• Organized.

Nice To Haves

• Other rendering programs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in a dedicated retail studio with other professionals dedicated to retail projects.
• Have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.
• Have direct access to the client on a daily basis.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines for clients.
• Work with prototypical design elements in a creative fashion.
• Coordinate with consulting partners and manage many moving parts to deliver a solid, final product.
