About The Position
LRK is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Baton Rouge, LA studio. This role focuses on the conceptual and schematic phases of large mixed-use and multifamily projects, working alongside a Principal. The position is ideal for a designer energized by the earliest stages of the design process, including exploring ideas, developing concepts, and creating compelling visual narratives. Responsibilities include site planning, building design, massing studies, graphic presentations, and creating presentation-quality packages to transform ideas into compelling design solutions.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience
- Strong design and problem-solving skills
- Excellent graphic and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, iterative design environment
- Professional degree in Architecture
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office
- Experience creating presentation graphics, renderings, and client presentation materials
