About The Position

Amazon's Integrated Design Solutions (IDS) team is looking for an Architectural Designer I to join a fast-paced, high-impact team delivering the composite designs that power Amazon's fulfillment network. This is a hands-on role for someone who is sharp, detail-oriented, and ready to produce accurate 2D/3D design work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. You'll work closely with experienced design and program management partners, contributing directly to composite delivery across a diverse portfolio of building types. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Building Information Modeling (BIM), as well as scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar)
  • Experience using one or more of the following technologies (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, SketchUp, KeyShot, etc.) to deliver high quality models and designs
  • Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, or experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate 2D/3D composite designs using AutoCAD and Revit in support of fulfillment network projects
  • Incorporate vendor-provided MHE designs and module placements into BIM models per established standards
  • Support clash detection and under-the-roof design validation to ensure composite accuracy before construction
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready files in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) following team data governance standards
  • Collaborate with design and program management partners to meet project milestones and delivery timelines
  • Flag design issues or discrepancies early and communicate clearly with the team to resolve them quickly
  • Apply feedback and iterate quickly to meet quality standards under tight deadlines
