About The Position

DAHLIN is a diverse, award-winning architecture, planning, and interiors firm with offices throughout the Western United States. We are seeking an ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER / DRAFTER to join our Civic & Community sector in our Irvine, CA location. This professional will develop design or technical solutions under general supervision, working alongside other team members. This is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at our Irvine, CA office.

Requirements

Demonstrated skills and talent in Revit / BIM, AutoCAD, SketchUp modeling, Adobe Photoshop, and preparation of presentation materials.
Excellent problem solver and independent thinker with good listening skills and strong follow-through.
Strong verbal and graphic communication, organizational and collaborative skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate / professional experience or A/E/C internship required.
Completion of Bachelor’s or Master's in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program.
Commitment to their own professional growth as designer, architect, or planner.
Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without any restrictions.

Responsibilities

Undertake a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for small projects or selected segments of a larger project.
Perform design layouts and features, which require researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned project work.
Review drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards and implement any changes as directed.
Assist project teams and other staff members as required.
