About The Position

As an Architectural Coordinator working for Taylor Morrison, you will be responsible for the coordination of product development and plan management processes in order to provide accurate takeoffs and field execution for all plans built by Taylor Morrison. You will maintain plans in Hyphen/BuildPro, controlling the release of new plans and updated plans to vendors, builders, and sales. You will coordinate product development with internal customers, outside consultants, and municipalities. Shifting timelines will require constant management and reprioritization of projects and deadlines to meet division goals. You will develop and maintain strong positive relationships with architects, engineers, other consultants, and municipalities to work towards timely approval of all design review and construction drawing approvals. You will attend frame walks on all models and new plans built, reporting any corrections to purchasing through the plan revision process. You will ensure proper use of the plan revision process, tracking and facilitating any requests through to implementation status. You will provide support to various TM departments and identify and communicate any issues with plans and layouts to the Architectural Director. You are willing to perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • College Degree (Bachelors) – Prefer Construction Science, Architecture or Engineering
  • Experience in On Screen Takeoff Software, AutoCAD, Timberline
  • Microsoft Outlook, and Excel preferred
  • Residential Construction or Design experience preferred
  • Understanding of estimating process, home design, architecture, pricing, building cost and takeoff procedures
