About The Position

Perform architectural design review in support of construction management activities related to government buildings and air force base facilities. Provide construction submittal review and responses to requests for information (RFI). Participates in design reviews of and provides comments on contractor submittals and plans. Provides quality assurance oversight, documentation of such oversight, and recommends corrective actions. Assists in interpreting and enforcing contractual provisions regarding contractor architectural requirements and deliverables. Documents and provides reports regarding contractor progress toward accomplishing contractual scopes of work and recommends authorization of progress payments. Perform field investigations of existing facilities as required to accomplish assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must pass a federal background review and drug screen
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
  • A minimum of 10 years as an architect on large complex multimillion dollar federal (Department of Defense, preferred) construction projects
  • Registered Architect (RA) license
  • Ability to manage projects throughout the planning, design, and construction document phases, performing calculations, design drafting, reviewing construction submittals, responding to requests for information, etc

Nice To Haves

  • Army Corp of Engineering (USACE) or other federal project experience, preferred
  • Experience using RMS 3.0, preferred
