We’re growing our presence in Jacksonville and are looking for an Architect to help lead that expansion. In this role, you’ll be both a design leader and market influencer—strengthening our architectural practice, mentoring emerging talent, and building lasting client relationships across the region. You’ll collaborate with a talented, entrepreneurial team and work across diverse sectors, including Corporate, Healthcare, and Science & Technology. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to shape both projects and the future of our Jacksonville office.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- Professional licensure (Registered Architect)
- 5+ years of progressive architectural design experience
- Proven ability to lead projects and build strong client relationships
- Experience in Corporate, Healthcare, or Science & Technology sectors preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- A passion for design, innovation, and mentoring others
Responsibilities
- Lead impactful projects by guiding multi-disciplinary teams of architects, interior designers, and engineers from concept through completion
- Mentor and develop talent, providing technical guidance and leadership to junior staff
- Drive client relationships and help expand RS&H’s presence in the Jacksonville market
- Champion design excellence by leveraging innovative tools and advancing BIM and design technologies
- Own project delivery, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule expectations are met
- Contribute to business growth through client engagement, marketing support, and strategic positioning
- Oversee technical design work, including planning, site analysis, specifications, and documentation
- Conduct field observations to ensure design intent is achieved during construction
- Collaborate with project managers on staffing, budgets, and workload planning
