About The Position

E-Logic is seeking a qualified Architect to provide professional architectural support for the planning, design, construction, renovation, and maintenance of Government facilities. The selected candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, review architectural designs and construction documents, and ensure compliance with applicable federal, military, and industry standards throughout all phases of project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an NCARB-accredited Architectural program or equivalent combination of education and qualifying professional experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional architectural design experience.
  • At least one (1) year of experience supporting facilities projects for a U.S. Federal Government agency.
  • Thorough knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, building systems, and industry best practices.
  • Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Knowledge of applicable DoD, DON, NAVFAC, International Building Code (IBC), Life Safety Code (NFPA 101), and related building codes and standards.
  • Proficiency with: Autodesk software (including AutoCAD and/or Revit)
  • Proficiency with: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Registration as a Registered Architect (RA) in the United States.
  • Experience supporting NAVFAC, military installations, or Department of Defense (DoD) construction programs.
  • Experience performing design reviews for military construction (MILCON), renovation, and facility sustainment projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, professional architectural support for the planning, design, construction, renovation, and maintenance of Government facilities.
  • Participate in project meetings and technical conferences with Government representatives, project stakeholders, architects, engineers, and other design professionals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure project objectives and technical requirements are achieved.
  • Review and provide technical input on third-party architectural designs and consultant deliverables.
  • Review architectural drawings, specifications, design documents, and construction cost estimates for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Evaluate design documents to ensure proper system coordination and integration among architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DON), NAVFAC, International Building Code (IBC), Life Safety Code (NFPA 101), and other applicable federal, state, and local codes and standards.
  • Provide technical recommendations during design reviews, project planning, and construction support activities.
  • Assist in resolving architectural design issues during project development and construction.
