About The Position

Gresham Smith is seeking an Architect to join their team. This role involves analyzing client problems and developing architectural solutions, preparing design documents, researching materials, and managing construction administration tasks. The position is offered as a hybrid in-office/remote role based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field of study AND Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Master’s degree in Architecture or related field of study AND One (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Demonstrated experience with Aviation or Commercial architecture.
• Demonstrated experience with Revit.
• Demonstrated experience with SketchUp.
• Demonstrated experience with Enscape or Lumion.
• Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated experience with Adobe Photoshop.
• A license in Architecture is also required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client problems and develop architectural solutions to those problems and coordinate solutions with subconsultants.
• Prepare schematics, design development and construction documents.
• Develop, modify and review production drawings and edit project narratives and specifications.
• Research materials to determine appropriate selection for project.
• Manage construction submittments and RFI’s, and assist project manager in construction administration.
• Assist project manager with review of sub consultant invoices and client pay applications.
