Architect SME

LinTech Global•Washington, DC

About The Position

Dexian Government Solutions is recruiting for an Architect SME to support our DEAMS contract. This role involves planning and managing hardware and software upgrades, migrating from DISA SuperCluster environments to X86 within the DISA Enclave, and supporting the analysis of migrating to ERPCS. The Senior Architect will provide architectural guidance for emerging requirements on the Technical Roadmap, guidance for audit and cyber compliance related to the DEAMS solution, and dependency identification and recommendations for prioritizing high-value program items. They will ensure requirements are well-defined and technically feasible, translate business needs into technical specifications, and support the stand-up of new SMT-Solution Management team concepts. This position will fill a gap in technical expertise not currently possessed or bandwidth-limited by the PAT team. The Senior Architect will understand, validate, and track the overall holistic view of software and hardware integration, compatibility, and alignment with DEAMS. They will consider changes to technology usage to optimize sustainability, cost management, and positioning against future technology trends and Air Force direction, providing guidance to the DEAMS PMO. This includes evaluating software and hardware designs, their impact on overall system function, middle-tier (application), and database implementation/configuration, ensuring designs are IB/TB compliant and adhere to DISA/OCI STIGs. The role also involves monitoring and evaluating software and hardware design changes for scalability, redundancy, and performance. The Senior Architect will monitor and evaluate the alignment and usage of technology standards within the DEAMS application space. They will support the identification, design, and documentation of changes to the DEAMS software version roadmap, providing an 18-month outlook on software, hardware components, vendor support schedules, and cross-product compatibilities. This includes supporting the development, management, and evaluation of Technical Architecture documents, such as the Topology for a Risk Management Framework (RMF) package. Evaluation of hardware hosting environments, including proposed platforms, hardware sizing, performance benchmarks, network connectivity, and integration with Oracle EBS, is also required. The role includes evaluating additional software "bolt-ons" and their integration. The Senior Architect will identify, design, review, and document recommendations for improvements to the DEAMS technical architecture, including best practices for highly available and scalable ERP technical designs. They will identify and assess potential new product features or changes from COTS software updates, maintenance packs, or critical patch updates, assisting with impact analysis, making recommendations on patch application, and participating in post-patch testing. Finally, the Senior Architect will identify, design, review, and document alternative approaches for the DEAMS architecture, ensuring long-term viability for acquisition, growth, and maintenance, and identify, review, design, and document detailed technical requirements based on program office direction. Collaboration with the team to design and document integrated technical solution architectures that effectively utilize Oracle application, database, and other technical stack components, including Oracle fusion middleware, DISA/OCI network, Oracle security, and integration infrastructure, is essential.
