About The Position

This role is responsible for the design, development, simulation, validation, and lifecycle support of embedded electronic hardware systems. The engineer will lead hardware development from concept through production, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Expertise in digital and mixed-signal design is crucial for delivering reliable, high-performance, and production-ready electronic solutions.

Requirements

  • Expertise in digital and mixed-signal design.
  • Experience in designing digital and mixed-signal electronic systems for embedded hardware platforms.
  • Experience developing hardware architectures, schematics, interface circuits, and subsystem designs.
  • Experience with component selection, circuit analysis, and design optimization.
  • Experience reviewing PCB layouts with emphasis on signal integrity, power integrity, manufacturability, and reliability.
  • Experience supporting design verification throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Experience designing and integrating high-speed interfaces including PCIe, DDR3/DDR4/DDR5, Ethernet, USB, and SerDes.
  • Experience analyzing timing performance, signal integrity, and power delivery requirements.
  • Experience supporting interface optimization and validation for robust system performance.
  • Experience designing PSU’s for different power rails and RF interfaces.
  • Experience conducting pre-layout and post-layout design analysis.
  • Experience performing circuit simulations using SPICE-based tools and industry-standard design software.
  • Experience conducting signal integrity and power integrity analysis.
  • Experience verifying circuit functionality and performance prior to hardware release.
  • Experience supporting worst-case analysis, timing verification, and design margin assessment.
  • Experience leading board bring-up, debugging, and system integration activities.
  • Experience performing root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of hardware issues.
  • Experience executing functional, environmental, reliability, safety, and compliance testing.
  • Proficiency with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and related laboratory equipment.
  • Experience documenting validation plans, test procedures, and verification results.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing transfer and production ramp activities.
  • Experience resolving field and production hardware issues through structured problem-solving methods.
  • Experience leading failure analysis and corrective action investigations.
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance to engineers, designers, and technicians.
