About The Position

Baskervill is a multidisciplinary design firm seeking an experienced Healthcare Architect for its growing Healthcare Studio. The role involves hands-on work across various project types and scales, adhering to the 'Ask, Listen, Create' mantra. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and flexibly on multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and a collaborative spirit. This position offers diversity and variety in day-to-day tasks.

Requirements

A Bachelor or Master of Architecture from an accredited program
12 years of post-licensure experience with a minimum of 5 years leading teams on healthcare projects
Architecture license required
Proficiency in Revit required
Experience managing client relationships and overseeing the design documentation and construction process
The ability to travel to other Baskervill offices or client project locations as needed

Responsibilities

Design and production from programming and concept through construction administration
Lead planning through all phases, including programming, design, fit-out and equipment planning
Lead multiple project teams simultaneously, providing project management and internal team guidance through every phase of design
Take a hands-on coaching and mentoring approach to oversee the design and technical quality throughout the execution of a project
Work directly with internal teams and consultants to develop creative healthcare planning strategies at all levels of detail, including new construction and renovations
Collaborate with studio leadership to enact drawing and specification quality assurance and control across the studio
Act as primary client contact, fostering client relationships and presenting design deliverables with teammates
