Architect/Project Designer - Healthcare

Our Healthcare Studio is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Healthcare Architect who’s ready to get hands-on across a range of project types and scales. This role provides diversity and variety in your day-to-day, so our ideal candidate can work independently and flexibly on multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for detail and a collaborative spirit.
Requirements
- A Bachelor or Master of Architecture from an accredited program
- 12 years of post-licensure experience with a minimum of 5 years leading teams on healthcare projects
- Architecture license required
- Proficiency in Revit required
- Experience managing client relationships and overseeing the design documentation and construction process
- The ability to travel to other Baskervill offices or client project locations as needed
Responsibilities
- Design and production from programming and concept through construction administration
- Lead planning through all phases, including programming, design, fit-out and equipment planning
- Lead multiple project teams simultaneously, providing project management and internal team guidance through every phase of design
- Take a hands-on coaching and mentoring approach to oversee the design and technical quality throughout the execution of a project
- Work directly with internal teams and consultants to develop creative healthcare planning strategies at all levels of detail, including new construction and renovations
- Collaborate with studio leadership to enact drawing and specification quality assurance and control across the studio
- Act as primary client contact, fostering client relationships and presenting design deliverables with your teammates
