We’re a multidisciplinary design firm with a growing global footprint and more than a century of experience shaping some of the country’s most influential spaces—from university campuses and civic hubs to luxury resorts and Fortune 500 workplaces. Our Healthcare Studio is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Healthcare Architect who’s ready to get hands-on across a range of project types and scales. This role provides diversity and variety in your day-to-day, so our ideal candidate can work independently and flexibly on multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for detail and a collaborative spirit.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor or Master of Architecture from an accredited program
  • 12 years of post-licensure experience with a minimum of 5 years leading teams on healthcare projects
  • Architecture license required
  • Proficiency in Revit required
  • Experience managing client relationships and overseeing the design documentation and construction process
  • The ability to travel to other Baskervill offices or client project locations as needed

Responsibilities

  • Design and production from programming and concept through construction administration
  • Lead planning through all phases, including programming, design, fit-out and equipment planning
  • Lead multiple project teams simultaneously, providing project management and internal team guidance through every phase of design
  • Take a hands-on coaching and mentoring approach to oversee the design and technical quality throughout the execution of a project
  • Work directly with internal teams and consultants to develop creative healthcare planning strategies at all levels of detail, including new construction and renovations
  • Collaborate with studio leadership to enact drawing and specification quality assurance and control across the studio
  • Act as primary client contact, fostering client relationships and presenting design deliverables with your teammates
