As an Identity and Messaging Architect within the Professional Services organization, you will have the opportunity to design, plan, and architect technology solutions based on the Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Exchange portfolios. As the lead subject matter expert on Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and migration management solutions, this role supports all aspects of design and service delivery, and facilitates technical workshops with our valued enterprise and public sector clients.

Computer Science / Information Technology degree or diploma or equivalent industry experience.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
8+ years’ work experience in a client-facing professional services role, or 10 + years of related, progressively senior industry experience.
Updated Certifications and training to include Active Directory, M365 Fundamentals, M365 Administrator, Azure Fundamentals, Administering / Configuring Windows Server Hybrid (core and advanced), On-Demand Migration for M365 and Active Directory, and ITIL v4 Foundation.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Exchange solutions that meet client requirements and timelines.
Serve as the technical authority to lead Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange (on-premise and online), and migration management implementation projects, which would include upgrades, installations, configurations, migrations, security policy design, administration, and user training. This will require the highest-level technical understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, Quest On-Demand, and Bit Titan Migration Wiz toolsets.
Work closely with co-workers (internally), end-users (externally), and vendor representatives on the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Active Directory M365, Exchange, and migration management solutions, in accordance with contract SLAs.
Mentor and develop Consultants, Engineers and Technicians on the team, and provide guidance on their technical skills, as well as the soft skills required for their success.
Function as a technical expert, with strong customer interaction skills, and the ability to advise on, implement, and manage complex solution and service deployments for clients.
Have a hunger for learning, and take advantage of the opportunities to pursue relevant certifications and training for Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Exchange, as well as vendor-specific training for solutions including Quest and Bit Titan.
Serve as a technical authority and subject matter expert for Softchoice, supporting other individuals and teams at trade shows, events, and speaking engagements that specifically require your technical expertise.
