About The Position
An outstanding, full-time opportunity is currently available for a Jr. Architect with at least 2 years of experience working on large-scale multi-family, residential , and commercial projects. This opportunity is located near the Thousand Oaks, CA area. This is an exciting opportunity offering a competitive compensation package, flexible working hours and PTO benefits. This position requires strong technical drawing skills. Knowledge of Type V construction methods and California building codes is required. Managing the efforts of the design and construction document team is essential.
Requirements
- Professional degree in Architecture
- Minimum 2 years of experience in residential and/or large-scale multi-family Architecture is REQUIRED.
- Minimum 2 years of experience utilizing Revit modeling software on completed projects is a MUST.
- Extensive knowledge of architectural detailing and construction practices
- Basic Knowledge of CAD & BIM software and their application in development of design through construction documents is required.
- Strong technical drawing skills
- Knowledge of Type V construction methods and California building codes
