About The Position

The Architect III role requires advanced knowledge of project complexity to contribute to the team's success by adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in design, execution, and living design. The position involves developing creative and innovative design ideas, concepts, and solutions as an integral member of the design team. Responsibilities include coordinating drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documents, analyzing product research, and identifying material selections. The role also entails crafting client and non-client design presentations, implementing creative approaches to tasks within schedule and budget, and reviewing work for accuracy and compliance with the Project Delivery Manual. Additionally, the Architect III will support the growth of others, express curiosity about design and the industry, take ownership of tasks, participate in design reviews, and maintain open communication while coordinating effectively with partners and consultants.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of experience showcasing significant work in healthcare facilities
  • Advanced knowledge of 2D/3D production software
  • Advanced Revit
  • Conceptual modeling tools such as Rhino and Grasshopper
  • Microsoft Office / Adobe Suite
  • Visualization tools such as Enscape and VRay
  • Physical modeling tools such as 3D Printing and Laser cutting
  • Presentation tools such as InDesign and Photoshop
  • Environmental Analysis software such Ladybug and Climate Studio

  • Develops creative and innovative design ideas, concepts, and solutions while participating as an integral member of the design team.
  • Coordinates drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Analyzes product research and identifies material selections.
  • Takes an active role in crafting client and non-client design presentation and prepares corresponding materials.
  • Implements a creative approach to complete tasks and responsibilities on projects, within the scope of schedule and budget, in an organized, timely, and consistent way.
  • Reviews work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and for document compliance in accordance with the Project Delivery Manual.
  • Supports growth of others.
  • Expresses curiosity about the world of design and the industry at large.
  • Takes increasing ownership on tasks within project teams and studio activities.
  • Participates in design reviews, charettes and pin-ups.
  • Keeps open and proactive communication with all and is inspiring within team and designated team leader.
  • Coordinates effectively with partners and consultants.
