About The Position

This role is responsible for developing and executing a territory plan to achieve sales targets, generate new business, and grow the project pipeline across Toronto and the GTA. The position involves prospecting and building long-term relationships with architects, designers, developers, builders, and contractors to influence specifications and secure residential and multi-unit projects. The role also focuses on growing key A&D and developer accounts through regular business reviews, stronger partnerships, and new revenue opportunities. The individual will build a strong network of decision-makers and influencers within the GTA architect and design community, support the full project lifecycle from consultation to completion, and deliver presentations and training sessions. Collaboration with Marketing, Retail, and Operations teams, as well as representing the company at industry events, is also a key aspect of this position. Sharing market insights and maintaining accurate CRM records are essential for success.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years’ experience in outside sales of luxury brand preferred, and or interior design experience
  • A High School diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • A strong network or relevant experience within the Toronto and GTA with architects, designers, developers, or construction community.
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with CRM is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated presentation and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to present to senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule which will include evenings and may include overnight travel.
  • Most travel is by car, although some air travel will be required.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve sales targets, generate new business, and grow the project pipeline across Toronto and the GTA.
  • Prospect and build long-term relationships with architects, designers, developers, builders, and contractors to influence specifications and secure residential and multi-unit projects.
  • Grow key A&D and developer accounts through regular business reviews, stronger partnerships, and new revenue opportunities.
  • Build a strong network of decision-makers and influencers across the GTA architect and design community.
  • Support the full project lifecycle, from design consultation and specification through product selection, quoting, sales coordination, and completion.
  • Deliver presentations, continuing education sessions, product training, and tailored events for industry partners.
  • Provide expert guidance on Miele products, applications, specifications, installation requirements, and technical solutions.
  • Partner with Marketing, Retail, and Operations on campaigns, launches, events, project execution, and brand activations, and represent Miele at trade shows, associations, and Experience Centres.
  • Work with regional colleagues on shared accounts, national developers, projects, events, and A&D initiatives.
  • Share market insights, leads, and best practices to support cross-market growth and consistent brand execution.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and report on pipeline activity, forecasts, KPIs, market trends, and territory performance.
