About The Position

The Architect in Delivery is a hands-on technical lead for cloud solutions, designing and delivering secure, scalable, and maintainable Azure systems that solve business problems. The role owns end-to-end architecture for projects while remaining involved in implementation as needed, guiding teams to meet goals for value, security, performance, reliability, and cost. The Architect leads solution design in their primary domain, guides engineers day to day, mentors architects and technical leads, and translates business needs into technical plans that support sound tradeoffs and predictable, high-quality delivery. The role requires deep implementation experience in at least one of Profisee MDM, Microsoft Purview, or Databricks Unity Catalog, along with familiarity with enterprise data governance roles, operations, and processes. It combines technical architecture and delivery leadership with client consulting, team mentorship, business development support, reusable asset creation, and adoption of modern and AI-assisted practices. 3Cloud follows a virtual-first approach with flexible work location. The base salary range is $117,500–$176,300 USD, and employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary/utilization bonus. The posting expires October 12, 2026. 3Cloud cannot sponsor applicants for work visas.

  • Proven experience leading hybrid and remote teams and maintaining alignment, quality, and predictable delivery across time zones.
  • Expertise in at least one major public cloud platform; Azure is strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of core concepts, languages, frameworks, and design patterns in the primary domain, with the ability to apply them to build robust, maintainable systems.
  • Experience using AI-augmented development and integrating AI or machine-learning capabilities into solutions through APIs, libraries, or cloud-based AI services.
