AECOM is seeking candidates for Archaeology Field Technician positions (Levels 1 – 4). These are new unionized positions under the collective agreement with LiUNA. Technicians will support archaeological fieldwork (Stages 2–4) under the guidance of a Field Supervisor, including artifact recovery, field documentation, and assisting with team leadership and training. Travel across Ontario and working in all weather conditions will be required. Candidates may be hired at Level 1, 2, 3, or 4 based on experience, education, and other relevant factors. The compensation for the 2025 field season will be between $24.48 to $29.44. AECOM and LiUNA will be renegotiating their Collective Agreement in 2026. Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available. All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location.
