About The Position

This is an 18-month contract position for an Archaeologist. The role requires a graduate degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in cultural resource management. This experience should include specialization in planning, directing, conducting, reviewing, and/or reporting on archaeology and/or archaeological/cultural resource surveys. At least 1 year of supervisory experience is required, with a preference for 5 years of experience and at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training that provide the necessary knowledge and skills will be considered. The position demands strong interpersonal skills for interacting with various functional areas, including management, legal counsel, project engineers, and third-party representatives. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential. Experience with GIS, report review, and screening/background research for cultural resources is also required.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in archaeology, anthropology, or related discipline.
