About The Position

The Arcade Supervisor performs a vital role within the Treasure Island Arcade by conducting daily checks on games to ensure they are operational and dispensing tickets properly. This position involves overseeing the Arcade and Ropes staff to facilitate operations, managing inventory, and handling scheduling. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring Arcade Attendants follow Splash Lagoon Policies and Procedures, and may initiate disciplinary actions up to, but not including, suspension or termination. A key responsibility is maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for arcade patrons. The role also includes tracking employee attendance and tardiness, assisting in maintaining a high level of customer service (Aloha Spirit), and creating Splash Cash / Arcade Cards. The supervisor must be able to use required equipment efficiently and safely, perform routine maintenance tasks with basic hand and light power tools, and be able to lift and drag up to 50 pounds unassisted. They are expected to follow instructions and procedures, perform other tasks as assigned by management, and wear the approved uniform and necessary job-related equipment while on duty.

Requirements

Ability to properly and safely operate equipment used.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to communicate effectively with public, guests and staff members.
Must be firm, fair, consistent and courteous in order to gain the respect and cooperation of the public.
Positive attitude in order to fully cooperate with other staff in a team effort, and adhere to rules and regulations to ensure successful operation of a facility.
Must have the physical and mental conditions necessary to be able to properly and timely activate and complete the EAP system in the case of an emergency.
Must be skilled in the use and care of supplied equipment.

Responsibilities

Performs daily checks on games to ensure all are operational and dispensing tickets properly.
Oversees the Arcade and Ropes staff to facilitate operations.
Manages inventory and scheduling.
Uses the required equipment efficiently and safely.
Able to lift and drag up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Follows and accomplishes instructions & procedures.
Uses basic hand tools and light power tools to perform routine maintenance tasks.
Ensuring Arcade Attendants follow Splash Lagoon Policies and Procedures.
May initiate and follow disciplinary actions up to but NOT including suspension and/or termination.
Responsible for maintaining an environment that is both safe and pleasant for arcade patrons.
Tracking attendance and tardiness for Arcade Attendant employees.
Required to assist in maintaining a high level of customer service (Aloha Spirit).
Required to create Splash Cash / Arcade Cards.
Performs other tasks and/or related duties as assigned or required by management when necessary.
Wears approved uniform and any necessary job-related equipment during assigned shift or anytime while on duty.
