About The Position
Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking a professional, safety-conscious Arborist to perform arboriculture work outdoors. The role supports assigned jobs under the direction of the Arborist Crew Leader and involves ground, tree-climbing, and aerial-lift duties. Work includes tree identification and risk assessments, pruning and removals, cabling and bracing, root collar excavations, and prescribed tree and shrub care treatments. The Arborist is expected to maintain and operate tools and equipment properly and follow company safety rules and policies. The listed pay range is $18.00–$30.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Have a passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.
- Have a valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
- Be able to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
- Have a valid state pesticide applicator license or be able to obtain one after hire.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience in the tree care industry is preferred.
- Class B CDL preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform ground, tree-climbing, and aerial-lift duties for assigned jobs as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
- Perform arboriculture work, including tree identification, tree risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, and root collar excavations.
- Properly maintain and operate hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
- Perform prescribed tree and shrub care treatments using spray, tree injection, and soil injection tools, as directed by the Arborist Representative.
- Learn, understand, and follow all safety rules and company safety policies.
