About The Position

Keystone Arborist provides professional tree care for homes, businesses, and properties across Central Pennsylvania. Our services include tree removal, pruning and trimming, stump grinding, storm and emergency response, and plant health care. We are looking for a Sales Representative who is a self-starter, enjoys meeting people, walking properties, explaining work in plain terms, and providing fast, accurate, honest estimates. This role is the face of Keystone Arborist for various clients and plays a direct part in keeping crews busy, customers satisfied, and the company's reputation strong.

Requirements

• 1+ year of sales or estimating experience (tree care, landscaping, or home services preferred)
• Working knowledge of tree care, or willingness to learn and pursue ISA certification
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
• Self-motivated and organized, able to manage a territory and schedule independently
• Comfort with CRM and estimating software, smartphones, and basic office tools
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to walk properties in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Generate leads through networking, referrals, and local outreach
• Meet with residential and commercial clients to assess tree removal needs
• Prepare and present estimates for tree cutting, trimming, and removal services
• Close sales and maintain strong client relationships
• Inspect properties to evaluate tree condition, risk, and accessibility
• Identify hazards (power lines, structures, terrain, etc.)
• Accurately define scope of work and pricing
• Coordinate scheduling with operations and clients
• Serve as the main point of contact from estimate through job completion
• Ensure clear communication between client and crew
• Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure customer satisfaction
• Handle change orders, concerns, or adjustments professionally
• Follow up for reviews, referrals, and repeat business
