About The Position
As an Arborist Climber at Bartlett Tree Experts, you will be an integral member of a tree care crew. Your primary responsibility is tree climbing, while assisting Arborist Crew Leaders in performing tree and shrub care services on residential and commercial properties. The role involves ground, climbing, and aerial lift work and requires safe performance of arboriculture tasks and proper care of tools and equipment. Requirements
- At least one year of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial-lift operation experience in the tree care industry.
- Valid driver's license.
- Passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Class B CDL preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform ground, tree-climbing, and aerial-lift duties in support of job assignments as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
- Perform tree identification and tree risk assessments.
- Perform pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, and root collar excavations.
- Properly maintain and operate hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
- Learn, understand, and adhere to safety rules and company safety policies.
