About The Position

The Arborist Climber is an integral member of a tree care crew, primarily responsible for tree climbing and assisting Arborist Crew Leaders in providing tree and shrub care services on residential and commercial properties. The role includes ground work, climbing, and aerial lift duties, while performing arboriculture tasks safely and maintaining tools and equipment. Work is outdoors year-round and follows company safety rules and policies.

Requirements

• At least one year of tree-climbing experience (DdRT or SRT) and aerial-lift operation experience in the tree-care industry.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.

Nice To Haves

• Class B CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground, tree-climbing, and aerial-lift duties for assigned jobs as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
• Perform tree identification, tree risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, and root collar excavations.
• Properly maintain and operate hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Learn, understand, and follow all safety rules and company safety policies.
