About The Position

The Arborist Climber is an integral member of a tree care crew, primarily responsible for tree climbing and assisting Arborist Crew Leaders with tree and shrub care services on residential and commercial properties. The role includes ground, climbing, and aerial lift work in support of assigned jobs, and requires working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions. The position is based in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, and is regular full-time.

Requirements

• At least one year of tree climbing experience (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift operation experience in the tree care industry.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.

Nice To Haves

• Class B CDL.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground duties, tree climbing, and aerial lift work in support of assigned jobs, as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
• Perform arboriculture work, including tree identification, tree risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, and root collar excavations.
• Properly maintain and operate hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Learn, understand, and follow all safety rules and company safety policies.
