About The Position

ComForCare Home Care is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide compassionate, non-medical home care services to seniors and adults in Danbury, CT, and nearby communities. The role focuses on helping clients maintain their independence, safety, and dignity in their own homes, offering peace of mind to their families. No prior caregiving experience is necessary, as the company provides training and support. The ideal candidate has a caring heart, a positive attitude, and a desire to help others.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in Arabic with a client who primarily speaks Arabic is required. (Bilingual Arabic/English Preferred)
• Experience is not necessary; all you need is a willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation for client visits.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidates may be required to complete a background check as a condition of employment, consistent with Connecticut state regulations and applicable federal law.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be reliable with a strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism.
• Able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with physical transfers.

Nice To Haves

• Personal Care Assistant, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Helping clients safely transfer and ambulate
• Meal preparation and assistance with feeding
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and conversation
• Transportation to appointments and errands (when applicable)
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team
