About The Position

Kids First Sports Center is seeking an Aquatics Director of Operations for its Swim School. This role involves leading a team of 15-40 individuals, many of whom may be first-time employees. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, a strong communicator, and passionate about making a difference in children's lives. The Swim School offers an instructional Learn to Swim program for children aged 8 weeks and up, with the primary goal of teaching children to swim. This is a full-time position requiring leadership experience, patience, communication, and vision.

Requirements

Proven leadership experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational or sports setting for kids.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to positively inspire both staff and students.
Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for early childhood development.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of up to 40 employees to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Development of staff to ensure high-quality program delivery.
Collaborate and create innovative program curriculum that aligns with our mission.
Maintain class mix based upon space and demand, and open/close classes as needed to maximize pool efficiency and student volume.
Drive new clients and nurture existing client relationships to ensure program growth and satisfaction.
Maintain a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends to meet program needs.
