About The Position

Aquatic Supervisor Recreation Programs $30.00 Per Hour Seasonal | Camp Cheerful At Achievement Centers for Children, we empower children and adults with disabilities to thrive through recreation, education, therapy, and family support services. We are seeking an experienced Aquatic Supervisor to help oversee pool safety operations during our summer camp season at Camp Cheerful. This role is ideal for someone with strong lifeguard leadership experience who is passionate about safety and enjoys working in a camp environment.

Requirements

• Current lifeguard certification
• CPR/AED certification
• First Aid certification
• Previous aquatic leadership experience
• Strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in camp or recreational settings

Responsibilities

• Assess lifeguard rescue skills
• Evaluate emergency preparedness procedures
• Review pool safety rules and recommend updates
• Support staff orientation and aquatic safety training
• Observe lifeguards throughout the summer season
• Provide feedback on safety performance
• Ensure compliance with American Camp Association standards
• Serve as a safety resource for aquatic staff
