About The Position

We are both a School and Adult Day Program for children and adults with special needs. We are looking for a certified/licensed Lifeguard for our Aquatic Center on our campus in Neptune NJ. He/she will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our students and adult participants while they are within the indoor pool and the Aquatic Center itself. Additional duties and responsibilities will be outlined in the job description.

Requirements

• Lifeguard Certification
• CPR
• FA

• Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of water quality and how to test water conditions.
• Knowledge of general safety guidelines, in and out of the water.
• Ability to perform life-saving procedures, like CPR, first aid, injury treatment, and water rescue.
• Effective verbal communication.
• Assisting students and adult participants in and out of the pool.
• Supervising water activities.
• Ensuring the safety of all students and adult participants.
• Performing necessary lifeguard duties.
