About The Position

Part-Time Aquatic Attendant / Lifeguard at Willow Valley Communities – The Cultural Center. This is a permanent (Non-Seasonal) role. The position involves creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for pool facility visitors. It is suitable for certified lifeguards or individuals interested in supporting daily aquatic operations.

Requirements

• Less than high school education or equivalent experience/training
• Current Lifeguard Certification and CPR Certification required (for Lifeguards)
• A positive attitude and strong commitment to swimmer safety

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe and enjoyable swimming environment
• Caution swimmers regarding unsafe areas
• Rescue swimmers in danger and administer first aid when needed
• Maintain order in swimming areas
• Inspect facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety
• Clean and add water to the swimming pool as necessary
• Test free chlorine (CL) and pH levels daily
• Conduct or officiate swimming meets as needed
• Provide swimming instruction upon request
• Oversee pool parties and group swim events
