About The Position

We are a rapidly growing aquarium and aviary service company. Our customers look to us to create a very serene and engaging environment for their residents/customers to enjoy. This particular role will primarily be servicing of aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted livings facilities. This is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Heavy lifting, bending, and many physical demands are involved in the position. Work is typically done during business hours of 8am to 7pm but is flexible. Hours will vary from month to month but will average around 10-15 hours a month. Dependent upon what accounts are due. Travel in a 150 mile radius of Amarillo, TX will be required. Furthest current account is Farwell, TX (96 Miles). Due to work being performed in long term care homes, masking/goggles may be required. Storing 50# bags of bedding and seed along with 4-5 27 gallon totes of supplies will be required for the job.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly
• Heavy lifting, bending, and many physical demands are involved
• Able to travel in a 150 mile radius of Amarillo, TX
• Masking/goggles may be required
• Storing 50# bags of bedding and seed along with 4-5 27 gallon totes of supplies will be required
• Ability to continually adjust priorities to match the business need
• Strong work ethic along with being on time and maintaining good attendance
• Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team oriented environment
• Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English
• Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities
• Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required
• Flexibility is a must!
• Driver’s License required

Nice To Haves

• Experience in fish keeping and or bird keeping preferred
• Great attitude and willingness to learn
• Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude
• High School education is preferred
