About The Position

Fit Life Houston is seeking an experienced and passionate Aqua Aerobics Instructor to design and lead engaging water-based fitness classes. This role involves demonstrating proper techniques, motivating participants, ensuring a safe pool environment, and promoting club programs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in group fitness instruction, especially aqua aerobics or water-based exercise programs
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and how they relate to water exercise benefits
• Skilled in program design tailored to diverse populations, including seniors, athletes, or those with special needs
• Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants of all ages and abilities
• Knowledge of health club safety protocols and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging aqua aerobics classes that cater to various skill levels and fitness goals
• Demonstrate proper techniques for water-based exercises, ensuring safety and effectiveness
• Motivate participants through energetic instruction, positive reinforcement, and clear communication
• Monitor participants’ form and provide modifications or adjustments as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment in compliance with health and safety standards
• Promote upcoming classes, programs, and membership packages to encourage community participation
• Stay current with industry trends in water fitness, including program design innovations and new exercise techniques
