About The Position

The Production Operator performs automated Thermal Spray, Slurry, Chamfer, Laser and Ultra Sonic machine applications as well as prep-work such as sanding, gritting, and taping of parts. This position reports to the Shift Supervisor.

Requirements

Must be able to become at Qualified Operator per Aerospace specifications
Requires computer proficiency, including Internet, e-mail, the HMI operating systems, Word, Excel, and various other software as needed
Able to interpret drawings and schematics to accurately assemble tooling and shielding
Able to work in a face paced environment
Must be able to plan, prioritize, and perform work in an efficient manner to meet schedules
High School diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

Run automated Thermal Spray coating booth, Slurry Spinner, Chamfer, Laser and Ultra Sonic equipment.
Use calibrated instruments to perform critical measurements.
Check and maintain key process parameters.
Perform standard maintenance activities on guns and equipment.
Keep the fixtures clean and ready to operate.
Prep-work of parts.
Sanding and or gritting of parts.
Taping and masking of parts.
Assist and perform duties as assigned by their supervisor.
Enter Data into Electronic Log Books using Microsoft Excel, Word or other computer software.
Use of powered industrial trucks and/or overhead conveyor systems.
Working in the Company's Quality and Safety System context, in accordance with its procedures and requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
