APRN/PA-C - Emergency Medicine
About The Position
The Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse provide urgent and emergent medical care services to patients throughout the lifespan. Functions in Emergency Department and urgent care settings of Concord Hospital as well as the clinical decision unit. Patient care is provided under the supervision of a CHMG physician for the Physician Assistant, and in collaboration with a CHMG physician for the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. Requirements
- Completion of Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing or Physician Assistant.
- NH License as APRN or Physician Assistant
- Current DEA License
- Provider experience required, inpatient preferred.
Responsibilities
- Obtains patient health history and performs physical examination.
- Diagnoses acute and chronic medical problems within the scope of practice.
- Cultivates respectful and responsive relationships and provides services that are delivered in a professional, compassionate manner.
- Maintains Effective Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
- Appropriately uses Systems and Processes to Effectuate Care and Services.
- Competently performs medical and surgical procedures
