Serves as a provider of clinical services within the scope and practice guidelines of the State Nurse Practice Act and SFHS policies. This role involves performing clinical services including assessment, intervention, and evaluation of care. The position requires consultation and collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care. Documentation of services, including medical records and care plans, is essential. The APRN/CNP I will also perform necessary procedures and treatments, promote patient wellness through education, and utilize advanced clinical knowledge to address patient needs. Responsibilities include performing complete physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and initiating drug therapy as appropriate. The role also involves assisting in supply identification and ordering, participating in quality and safety initiatives, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA policies.
