Serves as a provider of clinical services within the scope and practice guidelines of the State Nurse Practice Act and SFHS policies. This position is ECB status, requiring a minimum number of worked hours per month as needed by the department, with limited benefit offerings. The role involves performing clinical services including assessment, intervention, and evaluation of care. It also includes consulting and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers for coordinated patient care, documenting services, performing necessary procedures and treatments, recommending procedures and treatments, promoting patient wellness through education, utilizing advanced clinical knowledge to resolve patient issues, performing complete physical examinations, and initiating drug therapy. The position also involves assisting in identifying and ordering supplies, participating in quality initiatives and safety functions, and remaining informed and compliant with OSHA and HIPAA policies. This role involves carrying out non-routine procedures under changing conditions with general instructions from a supervisor. The work environment involves direct interaction with patients, internal and external customers via telephone or face-to-face, and frequent interaction with other healthcare professionals and staff, including individuals at the Director level or above. This position is considered safety-sensitive under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act.
