About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Apps Development Group Manager for its Tampa, Florida location. Duties: Lead the strategy and execution of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) initiatives within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) group, with the objective of scaling these capabilities across Tax, Treasury, and Controllers in Citi’s Finance organization. Responsible for defining and implementing a comprehensive AI/ML strategy that aligns with Citi’s broader financial goals. Deliver scalable and reusable AI/ML solutions, including financial chatbots, anomaly detection systems, and predictive forecasting models, to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and strategic outcomes. Spearhead the development and deployment of advanced Generative AI solutions by collaborating closely with Citi’s Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence (CoE), ensuring their seamless integration into existing workflows. Oversee the execution of AI/ML projects by bringing together cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and finance professionals, to ensure alignment across business units and drive innovation. In addition to driving strategy, leads infrastructure optimization efforts, leveraging proprietary tools such as R2D2 and Stellar, to ensure the efficient deployment of AI/ML models while maintaining compliance with Model Risk Management (MRM) standards. Foster collaboration among diverse teams and managing end-to-end AI/ML execution. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any) or related field and 10 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Program Manager, Senior Project Manager, Applications Development Group Manager or related position implementing governance and risk control processes for analytics models, machine learning systems, and rule based NLP solutions in regulated financial environments.
• 10 years of experience must include: Building automated financial analysis workflows, including variance analysis, anomaly detection, and data driven investigative processes.
• Designing data pipelines and validation frameworks supporting financial reporting, regulatory submissions, and data quality compliance.
• Developing automated narrative generation and NLP driven content creation workflows for financial and management reporting.
• Building NLP based query systems, enterprise search capabilities, and data retrieval tools across financial systems and data warehouses.
• Providing senior leadership with insights derived from financial analytics, forecasting models, and stress testing related data.
• Managing large global technical teams with responsibility for hiring, performance evaluation, delivery oversight, and resource planning.
• Making architectural decisions for AI/ML platforms, data storage technologies, analytics tools, and enterprise cloud services.
