About The Position

Under general supervision, analyzes and validates system requirements, existing business processes, and information systems to ensure desirability, practicality, and appropriate resource availability and capability. Designs, develops, and implements basic to moderately complex programs and/or modifications to existing applications. Devises or modifies procedures to solve routine problems, considering system capacity and limitations, operating time, and the desired format of results. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of moderately complex applications in accordance with organizational standards and end-user requirements. Assists in the determination, diagnosis, isolation, and resolution of application resource and utilization issues, as well as system errors. Develops fault diagnosis, isolation, and resolution techniques to ensure optimal system performance is consistently maintained.

Requirements

  • A college degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of experience in Information Technology, preferably with a focus on applications development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of program logic, analysis, specification design, language selection, and report formatting.
  • Experience developing both technical and user documentation.
  • Strong communication skills.
