About The Position

SunSoftOnline is hiring an Applications Developer (SQL / .NET / AI Agent Developer) for an Arizona state agency. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing complex Azure SQL databases, leading database projects, and troubleshooting performance issues. The developer will also be responsible for building and maintaining AI agents, including autonomous, multi-agent systems that reason, plan, execute tasks, and collaborate with other systems and humans. This includes prompt engineering and RAG pipelines. Additionally, the role requires maintaining and supporting Microsoft Azure App Services and C# .NET applications, data warehousing and ETL processes, mentoring junior developers, and writing technical documentation.

Requirements

Arizona residency with city on resume
U.S. citizen or green card holder
SQL - Azure SQL and SQL Server, advanced query writing and optimization, stored procedures, indexing, triggers
.NET - C#, Visual Studio, ASP.NET, OOP and UI design
Experience building AI agents (must appear on resume)
Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of SQL, web development, and analysis experience (or equivalent)
