We’re offering the following Apprenticeship programs based in Grafton, commencing in March 2027, an exciting opportunity to launch your career with Transport for NSW! For more information, view the role descriptions by clicking the links below: Bridge Construction & Maintenance Apprenticeship (Please note: This program does not lead to a carpentry qualification) Civil Construction Apprenticeship. No previous experience is required. You’ll receive comprehensive training, earn while you learn and develop in-demand skills through real hands-on experience within a NSW government agency. This program is designed especially for individuals who are beginning their career journey and are eager to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment. As this is an entry-level program focused on learning and development, it may be best suited to those earlier in their career path. Remuneration is aligned with entry-level roles, reflecting the learning-focused and developmental nature of this opportunity. Requirements

  • Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident.
  • Completed Year 10 or hold a Record of School Achievement (RoSA) or equivalent.
  • Ready to commence full-time employment in March 2027.
  • Hold, or be in the process of obtaining, a C Class driver licence.
  • Access to reliable transport to travel to the office or depot.
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, or near live traffic as required.
  • Willing to travel as part of your role.
  • Basic computer literacy skills.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and maintain a positive, accountable approach in all you do.
  • Take pride in consistently delivering your best across school, work, and personal life.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
  • Manage your time effectively and stay organised to meet your commitments.
  • Applications from candidates with extensive experience beyond this level may not be progressed.
