About The Position
MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking motivated individuals for their Apprentice Trainee program, offering a pathway to a skilled trades career in rigging and machinery moving. This program is designed for individuals with little to no prior experience in the industry, providing paid training to develop essential skills. MEI is a leading provider of rigging, machinery moving, millwrighting, and other industrial services across the United States, serving diverse industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, and Manufacturing. Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Commitment to learning and completing all program assignments, tasks, and assessments.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) as all training materials will be in English.
- Willingness and ability to travel to training sessions.
- Must be able to work in a highly functioning team environment.
- Must be willing to work in an outdoor environment year-round.
- Must be able to perform physical activities requiring considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials up to 50 pounds.
- Must complete pre-employment contingencies including a 5-panel drug test and a Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities
- Learn and master core rigging skills through hands-on training, activities, and assessments.
- Perform general physical activities requiring considerable use of arms and legs, including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials up to 50 pounds.
- Work in an outdoor environment year-round.
- Collaborate effectively in a highly functioning team environment.

- Deliver quality service to MEI's customers.
- Complete all assignments, tasks, and assessments required by the program, including pre-work and homework.
- Attend six bi-monthly, 3-day seminars in person, potentially requiring air travel.
