About The Position
Audi Owings Mills, part of the Sonic Automotive family, is looking for a motivated Apprentice Technician to join their team. This full-time position offers hourly pay between $18-$22/hour and provides an exceptional training and career opportunity within the automotive service industry, specifically with a recognized luxury brand. The role involves performing vehicle maintenance and repair work, diagnosing concerns, inspecting vehicles for recommended services, and maintaining quality workmanship. The apprentice will work alongside an experienced Mentor Technician to learn dealership processes and advanced repair techniques, attend factory-sponsored training, and continuously develop technical skills.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited automotive technician training program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the automotive industry
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to safely perform job responsibilities
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to successfully complete a background check, MVR review, and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repair work as assigned by your Team Leader
- Work alongside an experienced Mentor Technician to learn dealership processes and advanced repair techniques
- Diagnose vehicle concerns and complete repairs accurately
- Inspect vehicles and identify additional recommended services
- Maintain quality workmanship and follow all safety procedures
- Attend factory-sponsored training and stay current with Audi technical updates
- Ask questions, learn continuously, and develop your technical skills
