About The Position

Hyundai Northshore has an opportunity for an Apprentice Technician to join our dealership. In this role, you will support the Service Department by assisting with vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs while continuing to develop your skills as an Apprentice Technician. Working alongside Journeyperson, you will help ensure vehicles are serviced safely, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards. You take pride in quality workmanship, learning new skills, and contributing to a positive customer experience through reliable and professional service. This opportunity is open to apprentices who are motivated to learn and progress in their automotive career. Requirements

Registered Level 2 to Level 4 Automotive Service Technician Apprentice in British Columbia
Valid BC Driver’s License with a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 60 pounds and standing for extended periods
High level of mobility, dexterity, and awareness when working around vehicles and shop equipment

Nice To Haves

Previous automotive shop or dealership experience is considered an asset
Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles is an asset
Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive shop environment

Responsibilities

Assisting with vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs
Developing skills as an Apprentice Technician
Ensuring vehicles are serviced safely, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
