About The Position

As a "C" Level Technician, you will be responsible for completing preventive maintenance and light line repairs independently with no technical supervision. This individual may also assist senior/master technicians with complex repairs. You will perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, basic suspension and steering diagnosis and repair, basic brake diagnosis and repair, alignments, tire repair, fluid maintenance exchange, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) repairs/replacement, battery check and installation, and manufacturer recalls if the certification level required is obtained. You will make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle, perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory instructions and standards. You will stay up to date by reading and understanding factory bulletins, covering campaigns, updates, and recalls. You will document all work performed and recommended on the repair order, and examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended. You will understand and complete required training for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc. You will utilize product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management, and participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and schools. You will continuously expand your knowledge of new technology to gain additional practice.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive experience as a "D" level tech required
  • Must have good prior work or school attendance
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive technical school certifications preferred but not required
