About The Position

Come join us at Montessori Academy on the Ranch as an Apprentice Teacher! As a condition of your employment, you must have completed at least six qualifying units before your start date and be actively enrolled to complete the remaining six units. You must successfully complete all 12 required units within six months of your hire date. Upon completion of all 12 units and the receipt and verification of your official transcripts, you will be eligible to receive a one-time bonus of $1,500, less applicable taxes and withholdings. The bonus will be paid within 90 days of transcript verification, provided you remain actively employed and in good standing on the payment date. As an Assistant Teacher, you will assist with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, prepare and organize learning materials, and supervise children during all activities, including meals and naptime, to ensure a safe and positive learning environment. Requirements

  • Completed at least six qualifying units before your start date and be actively enrolled to complete the remaining six units.
  • Successfully complete all 12 required units within six months of your hire date.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
  • Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
  • Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
  • 6 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners
