About The Position
Join Horry Electric Cooperative as a full-time Apprentice Staking Technician and begin your career in the electric utility industry. The Apprentice Staking Tech supports planning, design, and execution of the electrical distribution projects for the cooperative. Responsibilities include assisting in system design for power lines, preparing staking sheets and cost estimates, ensuring compliance with cooperative specifications, and supporting permitting, easement, and right-of-way activities.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a physical with drug and alcohol screening
- Successful completion of a physical capacity test
- Successful completion of a background check
- Valid driving record (for some positions)
