Apprentice Sign Installer
About The Position
We are looking for an apprentice to assist our Sign Installer Tradesmen. This role involves assisting with the installation of new signage at various job sites, loading/unloading products, and maintaining work areas. The apprentice will communicate with customers, contractors, and colleagues professionally and must follow strict safety standards, including the use of PPE at all times. The position requires regular climbing, lifting, kneeling, crawling, and overhead work, with exposure to all weather conditions, heights, and confined spaces. Noise levels may be loud at times, and the role requires comfort with both the physical and mental demands of complex installation work.
Requirements
- Comfort with specialized tools, operating equipment like drills, hammers, ladders, saws, etc
- Able to work in a team
- Able to read instructions and blueprints when needed
- Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination
- Is not afraid of heights
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs, stand for long periods, and work at extreme heights
- Pays close attention to detail
- Willing to work early hours and overtime, if needed
- Professional, reliable, good attitude, devoted, honest & hardworking
- Clean driving record with current/active driver’s license (this is a must)
