Culligan Apprentice Service Technician
About The Position
As an Apprentice Service Technician, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians to learn how to install, maintain, and repair water treatment equipment in homes and businesses throughout Eastern Iowa. This is a full-time career opportunity with a four-day workweek, no nights or weekends, and the potential to earn commission in addition to your hourly pay. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move 50–75 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or other technical experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnosing and repairing water treatment equipment
- Learn to install water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and filtration equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Complete service paperwork accurately
- Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Identify opportunities to recommend beneficial products and services to customers
